Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at Milwaukee, Wisconsin
On November 30, 2010, the Embraer Emb-135Lr aircraft (registration N12530), operated by United Express, was involved in an accident at Milwaukee, Wisconsin (United States), leaving 10 injured. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 30 November 2010, a United Express Embraer ERJ-135 bound for Milwaukee met severe turbulence despite having been dispatched at low altitude (raised to 15,000 feet) precisely to avoid it, with a weather advisory in force and the seatbelt sign on throughout the flight. A flight attendant standing by the forward closet was thrown against the ceiling and back to the floor, fracturing her nose and left wrist. Nine passengers — all with seatbelts fastened — suffered minor injuries; three overhead service units were damaged by the impact of a passenger's head. The flight data recorder confirmed the jolt.
