Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

What happened
On 18 July 2012, on approach to the airport, the crew smelled smoke inside the aircraft. It landed without incident and the crew ordered an emergency evacuation on the ground, during which a passenger fractured an ankle. The subsequent review determined that the aircraft was operating on a single air conditioning pack, which failed on final approach; that let outside air in through the ram air intake. No source of smoke was found on board. However, along the approach path there was smoke from a fire at a large house, which is probably what the crew smelled. Source: the NTSB (United States).
