Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Incident at Burbank, California
On February 22, 2023, the Bombardier Inc Cl-600-2D24 aircraft (registration N954LR), operated by United Airlines, was involved in an incident at Burbank, California (United States) due to a loss of separation with another aircraft (airprox). Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 22 February 2023, at Bob Hope airport, Burbank, California, the controller cleared SkyWest (United Express) flight 5326 for take-off from runway 33 while telling Mesa (American Eagle) flight 5826 to continue its approach to that same runway, when it was 1.6 miles (about 2.6 km) from the threshold. As SkyWest began its take-off roll, the Mesa crew judged the separation insufficient and flew a go-around: SkyWest was crossing the threshold at 27 knots and Mesa was 4,200 feet from it, at 300 feet above the ground. The controller's instructions first put them on converging and then parallel headings, and Mesa responded to a TCAS resolution advisory. The minimum distance between them was 1,680 feet before the separation increased. The controller did not issue the traffic advisory or the safety alert the rules required. Memories coming soon

The register of memories is not open on this aircraft yet. We are enabling it gradually, record by record, as we consolidate each aircraft's information.

Before opening it we check the aircraft identity — its registration, its serial number and its model — against the civil register of the authority that registered it, so that every memory belongs to the exact aircraft that lived it. When that work reaches this record, the register will open here.
