Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at Queens, New York
On May 1, 2018, the Bombardier Inc Cl600 2D24 aircraft (registration N606LR), operated by Delta Air Lines, was involved in an accident at Queens, New York (United States) due to a ground collision with another aircraft while taxiing. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 1 May 2018, at about 14:53 local time, at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, Endeavor Air flight 3413 — a CRJ900 (N606LR) — was waiting to be marshalled to its gate when it was struck by Delta Air Lines flight 212, a Boeing 767-300ER (N172DN). Both had landed normally in daytime visual conditions and were taxiing towards the gate B30 area. The Endeavor aircraft had stopped short of its gate awaiting ground staff; the Delta captain, following it, lost sight of the CRJ through his right window and, having moved left to give more room, returned to the taxiway centreline and collided. The Delta's right winglet suffered minor damage, while the Endeavor aircraft was left with significant damage to the horizontal and vertical stabilisers. Source: the NTSB (United States).
