Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at Boston, Massachusetts
On July 14, 2011, the Bombardier Cl600 2D24 aircraft (registration N132EV), operated by Delta Air Lines, was involved in an accident at Boston, Massachusetts (United States) due to a ground collision with another aircraft while taxiing. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 14 July 2011, at Boston-Logan airport, Delta flight 266 (Boeing 767-300ER) was taxiing for departure when its left winglet struck the horizontal stabiliser of Atlantic Southeast flight 4904 (Bombardier CRJ900), stopped on taxiway M awaiting departure. The 767 had been instructed to taxi «at a good pace» to cross ahead of arriving traffic; the captain, having noticed the stationary CRJ, believed he would clear it and steered the 767 slightly right with gentle braking, but the collision happened — the 767's wingtips are not visible from the cockpit. The CRJ900 suffered considerable damage to its horizontal and vertical tail and lost fluid from all three hydraulic systems; the 767, minor damage. No injuries. Source: the NTSB (United States).

Parked due to COVID-19
In April 2020, the CL-600-2D24 aircraft (registration N132EV), operated by Delta Air Lines, was parked. Source: BTS.
What happened
The COVID-19 pandemic brought much of world aviation to a halt in 2020: as demand collapsed, thousands of aircraft sat parked for weeks or months. The extent and the dates varied a great deal from country to country and from airline to airline. This record is based on evidence FOR THIS AIRCRAFT (documented parking and gaps in its flight logbook). Source: BTS (United States Department of Transportation).
