Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at Denver, Colorado
On September 30, 2023, the Boeing 737-9 aircraft (registration N37560), operated by United Airlines, was involved in an accident at Denver, Colorado (United States). Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
United Airlines flight 329 rejected its take-off after noticing abnormal acceleration on runway 16R at Denver airport (DEN), on a scheduled flight to Boston (BOS). The brake fire that followed the rejection caused significant damage to the aircraft, with no injuries. The aircraft was near maximum weight and, with the temperature rising, exceeded the limit for departing from 16R. After several plan revisions that removed cargo and passengers, it was decided to burn off some 450 kg (1,000 lb) of surplus fuel with a long, slow taxi and extra braking, plus a 10 to 15 minute wait at the threshold with the parking brake set. The pilots never had any indication that the brakes were overheating: the Boeing 737 has no brake temperature monitoring system, which — they noted — the other Boeings they had flown did have. Airworthiness directive
On January 6, 2024, the Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft (registration N37560), was subject to an airworthiness directive due to the absence of the four bolts securing the mid-cabin door plug, which departed the aircraft in flight (a manufacturing process failure). Source: la FAA.
