Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at San Diego, California
On March 5, 2014, the Boeing 737 - 932Er aircraft (registration N809DN), operated by Delta Air Lines, was involved in an accident at San Diego, California (United States), leaving 1 injured. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 4 March 2014, at about 23:00 Pacific time, a flight attendant on Delta Air Lines flight 1248 — a Boeing 737-900ER, registration N809DN — suffered a fall during boarding at San Diego International Airport, California. The flight attendant, who was the lead, was carrying a tray of welcome drinks in first class when she tripped over a passenger's baggage in the aisle; the tray itself blocked her view of the floor. The captain, finishing the pre-flight tasks in the cockpit with the first officer, heard the fall and on turning round saw her on the floor. She was taken to hospital, where she was diagnosed with a fractured arm. Source: the NTSB (United States).

What happened
The COVID-19 pandemic brought much of world aviation to a halt in 2020: as demand collapsed, thousands of aircraft sat parked for weeks or months. The extent and the dates varied a great deal from country to country and from airline to airline. This record is based on evidence FOR THIS AIRCRAFT (documented parking and gaps in its flight logbook). Source: BTS (United States Department of Transportation).
