Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Accident at Denver, Colorado
On October 12, 2018, the Airbus A319 aircraft (registration N926FR), operated by Frontier Airlines, was involved in an accident at Denver, Colorado (United States), leaving 2 injured. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 12 October 2018, at about 09:16 Mountain time, Frontier Airlines flight 190, an Airbus A319 (N926FR), met turbulence after taking off from Denver International Airport (DEN) bound for Austin (AUS). Of the 24 people on board, one flight attendant was seriously injured and the aircraft was undamaged. The initial climb brought light, intermittent turbulence, but passing flight level 240 (24,000 feet) the aircraft entered continuous moderate turbulence and began to accelerate, so the captain disconnected the autopilot; there was no convective activity and no reports from other aircraft. Two flight attendants were preparing the service in the aft galley and, as the turbulence intensified, they tried to reach their jumpseats, but both were thrown into the air and onto the floor. One injured her ankle and the other her knee; the captain declared a medical emergency and, on the ground, the first was taken to hospital with a broken ankle. Source: the NTSB (United States).

Memories coming soon

The register of memories is not open on this aircraft yet. We are enabling it gradually, record by record, as we consolidate each aircraft's information.

Before opening it we check the aircraft identity — its registration, its serial number and its model — against the civil register of the authority that registered it, so that every memory belongs to the exact aircraft that lived it. When that work reaches this record, the register will open here.
