Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

What happened
On 3 February 2019, at about 01:10 UTC, United Airlines flight 9 — a Boeing 787-8, registration N26909 — was flying over the Gulf of Alaska bound for Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, China, when a flight attendant slipped and fell. According to the crew, she lost her grip on the handrail while climbing the stairs to the crew rest area and rolled back down them. The aircraft, which had left San Francisco, was undamaged, and the other 13 crew and 207 passengers were unhurt. After arrival, the flight attendant went to a medical centre, where she was diagnosed with a fractured tibia. Source: the NTSB (United States).
