Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

What happened
This Boeing 737 was destroyed at Khartoum airport on the day Sudan's civil war broke out. On 15 April 2023, the Rapid Support Forces — a paramilitary group that grew out of the Janjaweed militias — stormed the capital's international airport along with several military bases and the presidential palace, which triggered open fighting with the Sudanese Armed Forces. The airport was at the centre of the combat and several parked civil aircraft were hit. That is why this aircraft's record ends there: it was stopped not by a defect or a flight accident, but by a war that began on the apron where it was parked.
