Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

What happened
On 5 May 2006, the Airbus A320 with serial number 397, then registered EK-32001 and operated by Armenian International Airways, was in a hangar at Brussels airport for maintenance work when a fire consumed it and it was written off. There were no casualties. The aircraft had flown much of its life as C-GVXA for Canada's Canada 3000, until that airline's bankruptcy at the end of 2001. Source: Armenian International Airways.
