Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Incident at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau (YUL) International Airport
On August 24, 2026, the Airbus A350-941 aircraft (registration F-HREY), operated by French Bee, was involved in an incident at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau (YUL) International Airport (Canada) due to an accident with the pushback tug, with casualties on the ground, leaving 1 dead on the ground. Source: French Bee.
What happened
The French Bee Airbus A350-900 due to operate flight BF5761 from Montreal to Paris-Orly was being pushed back from its gate at about 7:30 pm on 24 August 2026 when a 39-year-old ramp worker employed by the ground-handling contractor Samsic fell onto the apron and was struck by the moving aircraft. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and died hours later. Initial reports suggest he may have fallen in front of the nose gear during the pushback, though the exact circumstances remain under review by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. Nobody on board was hurt.

Pushback is one of the riskiest ground operations for staff: the aircraft is not moving under its own power, and the coordination between the tug, the headset operator and the flight deck is all that separates someone working under the nose from a moving landing gear.
