Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Incident at Dulles, Virginia
On November 19, 2024, the Bombardier Inc Cl-600-2C11 aircraft (registration N501GJ), operated by United Express, was involved in an incident at Dulles, Virginia (United States) due to a flight control anomaly. Source: the NTSB (United States).
What happened
On 19 November 2024, at about 20:20, GoJet Airlines flight 3375 — a CRJ550 (MHIRJ CL-600-2C11, registration N501GJ) on a repositioning flight from Richmond (KRIC) to Dulles (KIAD) — suffered a stiffness in the pitch control on landing. During the descent, the autopilot did not capture the pre-selected altitude and an EICAS message «AP TRIM IS NU» (trim nose-up) appeared; the crew applied the QRH checklist. Already in the flare, the captain's left control column felt abnormally stiff. The aircraft touched down and taxied without incident; its two crew were unhurt and there was no damage. The inspection found that a cable from the elevator autopilot servo had fractured in two: the lower section wound around the servo mount and jammed it, limiting the elevator to about three quarters of its up travel. Source: the NTSB (United States).
