Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

Incident near Marrakech
On May 22, 2026, the Boeing 737-8K2 aircraft (registration PH-HSB), operated by Transavia, was involved in an incident near Marrakech (Morocco) due to an engine shutdown following an overheat indication. Source: the BEA (Morocco).
What happened
Flight HV5752 from Marrakesh to Amsterdam was still being pushed back from the stand, with the right engine just started, when an overheat indication for that engine appeared in the flight deck. The crew carried out the emergency procedures and the indication went out; after consulting maintenance, they decided to continue with the flight. Once airborne, climbing towards flight level 70, the warning came on again. The pilots stopped the climb at about 11,600 feet, shut the engine down and returned to Marrakesh, where the 737 landed above its maximum landing weight about 45 minutes after take-off. Nobody was hurt.

The sequence was made public in September by Morocco’s accident investigation office (BEA), according to the Moroccan press; the report does not state the technical cause of the indication.
