Vuelopedia is a work in progress: it currently holds about 30% of the information we expect to have by the third quarter of 2027. Although we use only official, highly reliable sources, some aircraft data and history may still contain errors or inaccuracies. We work hard to clear every anomaly from the records using specialized verification tools.

What happened
The 707 carrying more than a hundred of Atlanta's art patrons home could not raise its nose on take-off and crashed at the end of the runway. Two flight attendants survived. The inquiry pointed to a failure of the servo motor driving the elevator trim. Atlanta used the compensation to found the arts centre that today bears the Woodruff name.
